We’ve nearly finished Daniel 6, but there’s one crucial aspect left to cover: the historical context of this chapter. These events were occurring around the 70th year of Judah’s captivity in Babylon, which meant that God was beginning to influence the minds of the kings of Medo-Persia (especially Cyrus) to allow the captives of Judah to return home.

We’ll be examining the decree of Daniel 6:25-28, so come prepared to analyse this decree and explore the historical context of this significant event. Keep in mind that God always has a purpose when He acts.
