Imela

In the Nigerian Igbo language, there are two words for thank you: the polite term for daily use is daalu, but imela is deeper and conveys more emotion. It’s more like saying “thank you from the bottom of my heart”. Imela is also a direct expression of thankfulness to God for His goodness, mercy, and faithfulness.
