After going through the feasts of the sanctuary, we are making a detour back to Daniel 8 via what Paul writes in Hebrews about the earthly sanctuary and Heavenly Sanctuary. These are found in Hebrews 8-9.

While you are reading this, consider what God told Daniel about what the little horn would do: “The place of the sanctuary was cast down” (8:11) and “cast down the truth to the ground” (8:12). Consider how the little horn did this, why this religio-political system did this (and still is…), and how God is restoring these truths through Christian history.
