Retirees Enjoying Life (REL)

REL is a group for those who have time to get together mid-week and enjoy each other’s company while taking in some sights, sounds or gourmet food.

Calendar 2026

Thursday 5th March

Lunch at The Fiddler, in the Glasshouse at 11:30. Parking at the rear of The Fiddler takes you directly into the Glasshouse.

Meals for seniors are two for the price of one, or single seniors get 25% off their main meal. Please advise one of the committee by 28th February if you are planning on attending.

Tuesday 21st April

12 o’clock lunch at the Little Rock Café, Stockland Mall, Windsor Road, Baulkham Hills. Parking available in the Stockland Mall parking area.

Wednesday 27th May

12 o’clock lunch at Heritage Park, Castle Hill. Just bring a chair and a drink and we will supply a very simple BBQ lunch. Plenty of parking and easy to get to.

Monday 15th June

12 o’clock lunch at the West Pennant Hills Sports Club, 103 New Line Road, West Pennant Hills. The club has a senior’s menu if you are interested in checking it out on the website. If you are a member of the club you can get two meals for the price of one on this menu. Membership is $5 for pensioners or $10 if not a pensioner. Only one person needs to be a member to get this deal and we suggest you join online prior to the day if you are interested.

Saturday 8th August

BYO lunch and drinks to church, and we will meet in Stanford Hall commencing after Church.  Bring something sweet or fruit to share afterwards. A good time to catch up and relax.

Friday 18th September

We had such positive feedback from our Manly adventure last year so we have included it again this year. Catch the Rivercat from Rydalmere Wharf leaving at 10 o’clock and arriving at Circular Quay around 11 o’clock. We will then catch the ferry to Manly at have lunch at Felons restaurant on Manly Wharf at noon.

We have checked it out and it is very doable and flat for anyone needing a walker, with very little walking involved. For the naughty ones we will head down for a decadent ice cream after lunch. More details closer to the time.

Monday 30th November

Christmas lunch at Wildpear Café, 658 Old Northern Road, Dural, commencing at 12 o’clock.

Sunday 13th December

The Messiah at Sydney Town Hall, at 3 o’clock. Tickets are not on sale yet but cost of tickets is around $45-$55. We are suggesting people make their own way into the city. More details closer to the time.
